One of our resident wildlife, the echidna chose to cross the road in front of us. When we stopped to check him out he hid his head in the grass and leaves. Obviously the fact he couldn't see us meant that we couldn't see him!!

- I have 3 kids and a wonderful partner. A dog, a cat, 10 chooks, 1 duck, 5 fish and a horse. I am addicted to cross stitch, especially 'smalls'. I am always collecting bits of backing fabric, braid, ribbon, buttons, charms etc, anything I can use for my cross stitch ornaments etc I have always been a bit of a collector/hoarder :-) These days I tend to collect postboxes in honour of the history of our house. We have also developed a bit of a chook theme in the kitchen lol. Goodness knows why, our real ones are bitchy little buggers - I still like talking to them though.

Wow, what an amazing photo. How did it feel, not actually existing rofl? Congrats on becoming a grandmother and many comisserations for your loss. They say one accompanies the other and it must be nice to have something to look forward to.
